September 19, 2011 – Mass with Fr. Barry - Ruth Shinness-Brinduse “Prayer Strategy” –
Ruth Shinness-Brinduse, an author, international speaker, and found of Prayer Strategy Ministry . Ruth has spent years seeking effective prayer
strategies. Through her books and seminars she has instructed and inspired many people on the topics of prayer. She’s learned the important
keys that open heaven’s doors and enjoys sharing them with others.
October 17, 2011 – Women in the Bible - Patty Green will be talking about Courageous women of the Bible - the good, the
bad and the obscure in the Old and New Testament -- all who have influence and
obeyed God's call. Patty's interest in the bible came when she and her family lived in Singapore
for 4 years where she started in bible study. She is native Cincinnatian who
went to Ursuline Academy and Miami University, is a member of Christ the King
Parish and is married to Whitney and they have three children - Kelsey, Brooks
and Jack. Couldn't we all be inspired by learning about the strong women of faith who came
before us? Bring a friend.
November 21, 2011 – Join Fr. Greg Friedman OFM, pastor of St. Francis Seraph Parish as he discusses what it is like to be a part of a parish
and school in the Over-the-Rhine area. For many years, CCW has partnered with St. Francis Seraph School providing tutoring, healthy snacks and
donations for the students. Now learn a little more about the school, the parish and the good works they are doing in our community.Fr. Greg
Friedman, O.F.M., is a Franciscan priest who serves as Creative Director on the Media Production Team at St. Anthony Messenger Press, where he
produces audio and video programs. He hosts American Catholic Radio, broadcast and streamed to over 70 Catholic radio stations and available on
the Web at FranciscanMedia.org.
January 16, 2012 – Celebration of Mass with Fr. Barry. Barbara Lichfield “Spiritual Healing” Do you suffer from pain and stress? Has your level
of activity been reduced because of pain? If you’re like most people you may experience pain sometime in your life. Healing Touch is an energy therapy
that has proven results in alleviating pain and stress allowing you more time to spend with your family and live a joyful life. Healing Touch is
holistic in its approach balancing and supporting you physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Barbara Richfield will provide you with
some “take home” instruction and hands on activities while she opens the door to a healthier life in spirit, mind and body. Barbara enjoys helping
people live fuller lives through Healing Touch. She became a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner in December 2008 with many years of experience
prior. She is a graduate of the Athenaeum of Ohio and has a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry.
February 20, 2012 – Cecelia Moore – University of Dayton – “History of African Americans in the Catholic Church”. Cecilia a. Moore is assistant
professor of religious studies at the University of Dayton and at the Institute for Black Catholic Studies at Xavier University will share her knowledge
of the history and contributions of African Americans in the Catholic Church.
March 19, 2012 – ST. ROSE CHURCH*- Stations of the Cross with Fr. Barry. Join Fr. Timothy Schehr, PhD at Mt. St. Mary’s Seminary as he provides
helpful hints on “How to Read the Bible”. Fr. Tim will guide us through reading and relevance of the Bible in our lives today. Fr. Tim is the Professor
of Biblical Studies. He holds a B.A. M. Div., MA, Athenaeum of Ohio; S.S.L. Pontifical Biblical Institute and a PhD., Hebrew Union College.
April 16, 2012 – Cincinnati Cooks* (a FreeStore/Food Bank program) – join us for dinner prepared by the students of Cincinnati Cooks program.
Cincinnati Cooks started in 2001. It’s a free, ten-week program that prepares students, looking to improve their lives, for work in the food service
industry. During the program, professional cooks work with students to teach them culinary skills, along with job and life skills. The goal is help
students succeed both in the kitchen and in their personal lives.

November, 2011 – Giving Back…under the culinary guidance of our own, Bunny Jacobs, Caterer, we will prepare Thanksgiving dinners for those
who will not have a chance to celebrate this holiday with their family. This is a great way to get your whole family involved in the spirit of
giving to others.
February, 2012 – Join us for a game of Bunko. It’s a dice game that allows you to meet everyone at the party; talk AND play the game. Lots
of fun. No previous experience needed…we’ll teach you how to play.
March, 2012 – Join us for a behind the scenes tour of St.Peter in Chains Cathedral in downtown Cincinnati. This private tour will include
cocktails/appetizers and a private tour of the church’s museum. Fr. Barry Windholtz will conduct the tour. Spaces will be limited to the first 50 people.
